Over the past few years, we have been referring to our Mission and Values more frequently in conversations with staff, potential employees, families, and the community. The Mission Statement was wordy and cumbersome, not easily memorable and difficult for people whose first language was not English. History
Future Focus Program Services is an incorporated company which opened its doors in April of 1993.
Future Focus Program Services has Continued to expanded to offer supported employment services, augmentative and alternative communication services, and home and day programs for people with developmental disabilities.
In 2003, community support services became a contracted service and Future Focus Program Services maintained its focus in the provision of care at its homes and day programs. We have now grown in capacity in our homes and day programs to be able to offer services for an increasing number of people.
Our emphasis has moved increasingly toward informed choice, increased independence, and community inclusion, for the people we support as well as maintaining a high quality of health care, safety and security.
ACCREDITATION
In 2006, Future Focus Program Services homes and day programs were accredited by CARF. Our current accreditation is certified until 2020.
CARF is an independent, not-for-profit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served. CARF establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services.

In 2008 I answered an ad for a part time HR Manager at Future Focus Program Services. Little did I know that this would change my life! After 10 years as the HR Manager , I was given the opportunity to invest in the actual future of Future Focus and become an owner!
While I know that having good staff makes the workplace run, it is the Individuals we support that are the reason we even exist.
Our vision is to provide a safe place for Individuals, regardless of their abilities, to grow and learn and be the best version of themselves.
Future Focus Program Services has established and actively promotes inclusion regardless of heritage, education, beliefs, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental health, physical or cognitive capabilities, or socio-economic status.
